One individual was killed and one more harmed when a snowboarder destroying a backwoods slant in Colorado started a torrential slide.

The downpour occurred around 1 p.m. Monday when four snowboarders were walloped by the torrential slide close to the culmination of Berthoud Pass, a mountain about an hour west of Denver, authorities said. Two of the riders had the option to remain over the surface while the other two were “totally covered,” as indicated by the Colorado Torrential slide Data Center (CAIC).
